Nadia

Nadia is a Contributing Writer at Strait Journal. Covers how Detroit is being built and rebuilt: new developments, old buildings finding new uses, transit, the riverfront and the greenways.

Reads site plans for fun and goes to the ribbon cuttings anyway. Most interested in what a project changes for the block around it.

Walks the Dequindre Cut most mornings and will tell you which bridge is next to open. Owns more bike lights than bikes.

Joined the masthead in 2026.
