New reporting from Hour Detroit, by Jack Thomas, says Ray's, a New York bar co-owned by actors Justin Theroux and Nicholas Braun, opened its fourth location on Sept. 1 in Parker's Alley downtown. It took over the former Mr. Dips space at 19 E. Grand River Avenue and pours classic cocktails, beer, and bar fare like hot dogs, hamburgers, and shareable snacks. Several signature drinks nod to Detroiters named Ray, including rapper Babyface Ray and musician Ray Parker Jr. Strait has not independently confirmed this.
