Soul Clap's House of EFUNK ran its 11th edition at TV Lounge over Movement weekend 2025. Two nights. Deep lineup. Produced in partnership with Paxahau.

EFUNK is the annual Movement weekender that Eli Goldstein and Charles Levine have been running at TV Lounge for over a decade. The format has stayed consistent: two nights, a roster that leans into house and disco more than techno, a specific energy that sits apart from the Tangent Gallery techno marathon crowd and the Lincoln Factory warehouse arc. The 2025 edition brought Ben UFO, Joe Claussell, Roy Davis Jr., and an Inner City live appearance, among others.

A new EFUNK vinyl compilation released alongside the weekend, featuring Axel Boman, Mathew Jonson, Byron The Aquarius, and others. The compilation is available through Soul Clap Records on Bandcamp.

The Paxahau co-production matters. It puts House of EFUNK on a different institutional footing than most Movement afterparties, which tend to operate as independent promoter events. EFUNK has the festival's infrastructure behind it. That is part of why the residency has lasted.

TV Lounge is at 2548 Grand River Avenue.
