According to the Detroit Free Press, via Yahoo News, MoGo has pulled all of its bikes off Detroit's 80 stations, pausing the bikeshare for the season with no relaunch date announced. The Downtown Detroit Partnership made the call to collect the bikes, the paper reports. MoGo launched in May 2017 and has logged more than 728,000 rides, averaging about 275 rides a day. Ryan Michael, the city's acting chief of mobility innovation, told Detroit Free Press, "The city and many partners and supporters will continue evaluating options for the future of the bike share system..." Strait has not independently confirmed this.

Why we're watching: Per Detroit Free Press, MoGo has indicated system updates and more e-bikes are planned, and we'll cover the relaunch date and what happens to current members directly when it lands.
