Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries and Great Expressions Dental Centers are collecting new and gently used winter coats at participating dental offices across Metro Detroit through November 20.
New reporting from Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries says the mission has teamed up with Great Expressions Dental Centers for its annual winter coat drive, with drop-offs open at participating dental offices across Metro Detroit through November 20. DRMM is asking for new or gently used coats for men, women, and children, plus hats, gloves, mittens, and warm socks. The mission points donors to greatexpressions.com to find a participating office. "Every donation makes a difference," DRMM writes, framing the goal as warmth and comfort for families facing a hard winter.
Why we're watching: coat drives are how Detroit carries its neighbors through the cold, and we'll map the drop-offs and check the final tally once the November 20 deadline lands.
