The school gives over-age middle schoolers a route back onto the standard high school track, and after a 2023 merger with Westside School of Technology and Legacy Academy it added credit recovery for high schoolers at risk of not graduating on time. More than 400 students now attend, with small classes built for individual support. "We've got great family here. Our kids lean on us for more than just academics," principal Alean King told Hour Detroit. Strait has not independently confirmed this.
