Jeff Mills and Jean-Phi Dary announced a new Tomorrow Comes The Harvest album in February 2026. It is called "Forbidden Planet" and it is the second record from the project since Tony Allen's death in 2020.

Tomorrow Comes The Harvest started as a collaboration between Mills and Allen, the Afrobeat drummer whose playing is on every Fela Kuti record worth knowing. Allen died in 2020. The project carried on after his death.

Dary is a Parisian keyboardist with a background that runs from Manu Dibango to Mory Kanté. The combination of his playing and Mills' production machinery creates something that does not sit cleanly in any genre box. It is not techno. It is not jazz. It is not ambient. It is a third thing.

The Quietus and Resident Advisor covered the announcement. No release date yet.
