DJ Stingray 313 played Lincoln Factory on September 27, 2025, as part of his Echogenesis Tour. Akua and 1morning were on the bill.

Stingray is a Detroit electro producer and DJ whose catalog goes back to his work with Drexciya in the late 90s. The Echogenesis Tour is built around the kind of crossgenerational Black dance music programming that Stingray has been championing for years, pairing his own sets with younger producers working in adjacent spaces. Akua is one of those producers. 1morning is another. The tour's format is less about a headliner moment and more about three artists building something across the night.

Lincoln Factory is still new enough that every major booking there is partly a test of what the room can do. The Stingray date was one of the clearer tests so far. Electro at the volume and intensity Stingray plays it demands a specific kind of sound system. The room handled it.

The show was part of a Montreal-to-Detroit tour leg that also included dates at NWHR in Montreal. Lincoln Factory's programming calendar continues through the winter.

Lincoln Factory is at 11500 Stout Street.
