Detroit is opening seven new free after-school sites with a $2.2 million city investment, Chalkbeat Detroit reports. The expansion of the GOAL Line program, announced by Mayor Sheffield, is expected to reach about 1,000 more Detroit kids. WXYZ Detroit reports the free program is adding seven new locations across the city.
