A free statewide Issues Summit comes to Marygrove Conservancy on October 21

New reporting from Bridge Michigan says registration is open for its Issues Summit, a free half-day convening coming to the Marygrove Conservancy campus in Detroit on October 21.

The outlet describes it as a statewide gathering of residents, civic leaders, policymakers and experts examining the issues shaping Michigan's future, with sessions on health, education, the environment, and the economy and affordability, plus election coverage of Michigan's gubernatorial and U.S. Senate races.

Attendance is free in person or virtually, though the outlet notes seating for the in-person option is limited. Their page carries the full schedule, the speaker lineup, and the registration link.

Why we're watching: a free, Detroit-hosted policy summit is a real civic draw, and we will cover the program and turnout once the doors open in October.
